Hoping and Wishing


I wish I can tell you how wonderful you are,

How your face shine with every laugh and smile.

I wish I can wipe away every tear and scar,

that hurts your heart and stains your eye.


I wish I can say how you brighten each day.

How you keep all my sadness, and sorrows at bay.

You gave color to my life, like flowers of May.

How my heart skips, with every word you say.


I wish I can show you how proud I am.

that you fight everyday, as much as you can.

How you continue dreaming each night and day,

and working for that dream, come what may.


I wish you'll see this love I have.

as pure and white as feathers of doves.

I want to give you this heart of mine.

Wishing our dreams, and stars are aligned.


I wish you'd tell me what ails your soul.

what makes your emotions run hot and cold.

That way, I would know how to heal your pain.

cure your heart, make you happy again.


All these wishes, I can't say in words.

but through my actions, I wish you'd heard.

This soundless voice can never ever utter,

How I long for you, to be mine forever.

Everywhere I see, there a news reports, pictures, videos and memes of Vhong Navarro and Boy Bulalo. For 2 weeks now my news feed is nothing but them. It’s become a circus… and it has irritated me to the point that I wanted to sit down and write what I think of it all. This is my point of view alone.
